Kids Cooking Thursday: Milk Chocolate Cranberry Brownies.

Based on my go to brownie recipe, I thought I'd try making a milk chocolate version, since I had a few blocks sitting around tempting me, and I'd rather eat brownies than plain chocolate.

180g butter
180g milk chocolate, chopped
3 eggs
1 1/4 cups caster sugar
1 tbsp vanilla
2/3 cup plain flour
1/2 cup cocoa powder
1 cup dried cranberries

Preheat oven to 180 degrees C. Place butter and chocolate in the microwave and cook on medium for a minute, stir, and repeat for 30 second bursts until the chocolate and butter is all melted and smooth.
Allow to cool. Place the eggs and sugar in a bowl and beat with a electric
mixer(or wire whisk) until light and creamy. Add vanilla. Fold through chocolate and butter mixture. Sift the flour and cocoa over the mixture and mix to combine.
Add cranberries and pour into a 23 cm(9 inch) square pan that has been lined with cooking paper and sprayed with cooking spray.
Bake for 35-40 mins or until set. Check with a knife. Allow to cool and then cut into squares.
